About me

I’m Becky, a qualified makeup artist based in North Devon for over 8 years. I specialise in bridal and special occasion makeup, and also run tutorials and workshops for those wanting to learn techniques for themselves.

I grew up in North Devon and, after studying Fashion and Textile Design at Bath Spa University, moved back to the area to take up a role as a photorealist painter for Damien Hirst, where I worked for 10 years. This gave me invaluable knowledge and understanding of colour and brush work which has led me naturally onto to my new Art – makeup.

I’ve always had a love for colour and detail, which both my degree and career suited perfectly, however my true passion and interest is makeup artistry. Initially my interest grew from watching YouTube videos and reading blogs online, finding inspiration from the best makeup artists in the industry, such as Lisa Eldridge, Path McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, along the way.

I qualified from the London College of Fashion in Bridal and Special Occasion makeup where I learnt the newest techniques for long lasting, flawless makeup.

I use only the best makeup brands... Charlotte Tilbury, Mac, Nars, Bobbi Brown, Hourglass, and Chanel. From natural or understated looks to statement looks, such as ‘red lip’ or a ‘smokey eye’, I will work my magic on you.
